SIMPLE RULES TO PROTECT THE INTEGRITY OF OUR MEMBERS.

CatholicDaters.com provides its service to you subject to the following terms ("Terms of Use "), which may be updated by us from time to time without notice to you. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Use at any time on this page.

Summary of the Lengthy "Terms of Use" Agreement at the Bottom of this Page:

1. These Terms of Use can and will change. As long as you are a member you are responsible for the terms even as they change. It is your responsibility to review and abide by any changes that are made.

2. Users must be 18 or older to join.

3. The information submitted in your profile must be truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge.

4. You agree to not use the Service to: (i) upload, post, e-mail or otherwise transmit any Content(including text and photos) unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, pornographic, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;

5. You agree not to post any sacreligous or offensive material. As a dedicated Catholic, you agree to take the site's contents and its members seriously.

6. CatholicDaters.com can terminate your membership for ANY reason at ANY time.

7. All monthly to yearly subscriptions are on auto-renewal/recurring billing until that feature is turned off and you convert back to a free member status or cancel. All amounts are billed in U.S. dollars at the beginning of each renewal period and will appear on your credit card statement as CatholicDaters.com. Your CatholicDaters.com subscription will be automatically extended for successive renewal periods of the same duration as the subscription term originally selected at the then-current subscription rate. To change or resign your subscription at any time, go to My Account Preferences. If you turn-off auto-renewal, you'll enjoy subscription benefits until the end of your then-current subscription term; your subscription won't be renewed after that term expires. However, you won't be eligible for a prorated refund of any portion of the subscription fees paid.

8. CatholicDaters.com does not issue refunds for paid members, even if they are not satisfied with the service.

9. You understand that we cannot guarantee your online or offline dating success or that you will even meet anyone. CatholicDaters.com is not responsible for any behavior of its members whether that is online or offline.

10. You agree that CatholicDaters.com can use your image/pictures and/or text profile for site promotion and or the Members of the Week page at anytime and without informing you.

11. You are not allowed to add any contact information to your profile or anywhere else in areas of the site that is viewable by other members (including email address, phone number, instant messenger name or any other contact info.) Once you upgrade to a paid membership - then you may exchange contact information privately with other members through email, chat etc. Attempting to add contact info to your profile or anywhere else in the site can result in the termination of your membership.

12. As a member you are responsible for cancelling your own account no matter what status of membership you are at(incomplete member that never finished signing up, free member or paid member). It is not our responsibility to cancel your account for you and we will not. If you are an incomplete member and are receiving match alerts through email - you must finish signing up and then cancel your account to stop those match alerts or future site interaction.

13. We may send you match alert emails updating you when new members have joined.

13. When you are finished using our services as a paid member, you must cancel with our site by clicking on My Account Preferences. We cannot and will not cancel your membership for you. If you fail to cancel and the site continues to bill you as a paid member this is due to your continued membership.

14. If you were a paid member prior to June of 2004 and are a Paypal paid member and you want to cancel then you must cancel with Paypal immediately after by going to Paypal.com and logging into your account and going to your history and cancelling the recurring billing with us. This is not our responsibility - and is solely yours. We will not and cannot enter your private Paypal account to cancel the recurring billing. Failure to do so in a timely manner is not our responsibility even if there is additional billing involved. Refunds will not be credited for a members failure to cancel their Paypal billing even if they have cancelled with our site.

Terms of Use

You are required to provide certain information about yourself if you wish to use certain portions of the Service. In consideration of your use of the Service, you agree to: (i) provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the appropriate registration, membership or user profile form(s) (such information is your "User Information"), and (ii) maintain and promptly update your User Information to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or CatholicDaters.com has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, then CatholicDaters.com has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Service (or any portion thereof). You agree that the information in your Profile (see the Help statement for a description) and certain other information submitted by you or relating to your use of the Service, including all grades given and received by you, all questions asked by you, and the username you select, may be viewed by any and all users on our site, including those purchasing any Answers for which you were the CatholicDaters.com or the CatholicDaters.com if resold as described.

REGISTRATION, MEMBERSHIP, PASSWORD AND SECURITY:

At signup you will choose a password and account designation upon completing the appropriate registration or membership process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. You agree to (i) immediately notify CatholicDaters.com of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security, and (ii) ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session. CatholicDaters.com cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these policies. You may not use or attempt to use the Service with any password other than your single CatholicDaters.com password, and you may maintain only one (1) account with CatholicDaters.com at any given time.

USER CONDUCT:

You understand that by using the Service, there is always the possibiltiy that you could be exposed to Content that is offensive, indecent or objectionable. Under no circumstances will CatholicDaters.com be liable in any way for any Content, including, but not limited to, for any errors or omissions in any Content, or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any Content posted, emailed, transmitted or otherwise made available via the Service. You acknowledge that CatholicDaters.com does not pre-screen Content, but that CatholicDaters.com and its designees shall have the right (but not the obligation) in their sole discretion to refuse or move any Content that is available via the Service and with that any user that it violates content rules below.

(a) You agree to not use the Service to: (i) upload, post, e-mail or otherwise transmit any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable; (ii) impersonate any person or entity, falsely state your identity or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity; (iii) forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any Content transmitted through the Service; (iv) upload, post, e-mail or otherwise transmit any Content that you do not have a right to transmit under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as inside information, proprietary and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements) or that you obtained in a wrongful manner; (v) upload, post, e-mail or otherwise transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation; (vi) upload, post, e-mail or otherwise transmit any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment other than for research or computer/software support and maintenance (provided that in no event may you upload, post, or otherwise transmit any such material to the extent that such action will or could result, automatically or in connection with any other action other than the willful action of any third party, in any damage, interruption, destruction or limitation of or to CatholicDaters.com's systems, software, hardware, site, databases or Services); (vii) interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the Service; (viii) request or provide any legal or medical advice or other advice or information which may only be lawfully rendered or provided by a licensed professional unless you are a licensed professional in the relevant field of expertise and abide by all relevant laws, rules and regulations; or(ix) intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national or international law or regulation. (b) You agree not to store or aggregate any Content of other users except through your use of the storage capabilities afforded by the Service. (c) You agree not to take any actions which may undermine the integrity of the feedback system, such as: leaving positive feedback for yourself using secondary accounts or third parties; leaving negative feedback for other users using secondary accounts or third parties; or leaving negative feedback if a user fails to perform an action that is outside the scope of your arrangement with that user. (d) You agree not to post unsolicited messages about or the Service on Usenet groups or in chat rooms or on other Internet sites in a manner which could be construed as spam, or as mass unsolicited messaging. (e). You agree not to transmit, post, distribute, or reproduce in any way any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information without obtaining the prior consent of the owner of such proprietary rights. You agree not to transmit, post, distribute or reproduce in any way any material that violates the rights of another, including but not limited to the intellectual property rights.

USAGE OF YOUR IMAGE AND PROFILE:
You agree that CatholicDaters.com can use your image/pictures and/or text profile for site promotion and/or for the Members of the Week page at anytime and without informing you.

MODIFICATIONS TO SERVICE:
CatholicDaters.com reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that CatholicDaters.com shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuation of the Service.

TERMINATION:
You agree that CatholicDaters.com, in its sole discretion, may terminate your password, account (or any part thereof), use of the Service and/or the Terms of Use, and remove and discard any Content within the Service, for any reason, including, without limitation, if CatholicDaters.com believes that you have violated or acted inconsistently with the letter or spirit of the Terms of Use or that you have engaged in fraudulent activity in connection with the Service. You acknowledge that it is CatholicDaters.com's policy to block access to the CatholicDaters.com site to users that repeatedly submit information to CatholicDaters.com that violates third party copyrights. You acknowledge that CatholicDaters.com will in its sole discretion determine who is a repeat infringer. Repeat infringers will not be permitted to access or use any of the CatholicDaters.com services. CatholicDaters.com may also in its sole discretion and at any time discontinue providing the Service, or any part thereof, with or without notice. You agree that any termination of the Terms of Use or your access to the Service under any provision of these Terms of Use may be effected without prior notice, and acknowledge and agree that CatholicDaters.com may immediately deactivate or delete your account and all related information and files in your account and/or bar any further access to such files or the Service. Further, you agree that CatholicDaters.com shall not be liable to you or any third party for any termination of your access to the Service. Upon any termination of your access to the Service, CatholicDaters.com will disburse to you any amounts held on your behalf and which are payable to you.

PRIVACY INFORMATION
CatholicDaters.com provides strong encryption security to protect the privacy of the information provided by users for all financial transactions.

CREDIT CARD INFORMATION
CatholicDaters.com does not ever keep your credit information on file. Your credit card information is inputed and tranmitted to a third party merchant service that keeps that information(PayPal.com). CatholicDaters.com is not responsible for any loss or misuse of your credit card information. All credit card transactions are processed using encryption and fraud verification.
