I lost my username and password. Can you send that information to me?
We have a password retrieval system that
will send you your username and password via email. Get it here. DO
NOT contact our support team for this information - for security reasons
we cannot send this via email. The only way to retrieve it is to put
your information in that form and we will email it to you.
How do I cancel my account?
Go to "My Account Preferences" and in the at the bottom of the page click on "Cancel
Account"
You must answer the quick exit survey to finish the cancellation.

I have never used an online dating site before. I am confused on how to use it.

I see that you match users by what state they are in? Do you match on other
criteria?
There are advanced search tools
that you can use called "My Dream Catholic Search" which allow you
to search the whole database on very specific criteria. However we
DO NOT attempt to match our members up with compatibility tests or
over-engineered profiles. Many sites do that but they fail to realize
that there are just as many people married and happy that are direct
opposites as there are who are very similar. With Christ as your foundation
for a relationship, often times that is the most important part. Sites
that over-engineer match results tend to stray opposites away from
each other and only match you if 50% or more of your profile is identical.
We feel that you will miss out on many great people with this so we
put this in your hands.
I subscribed to your paid membership services and I continue to be
billed? Why is that?
With the exception of the Lifetime Membership, all memberships are Recurring
as long as you stay a paid member. This is stated in both your user agreement
and upon signing up to a paid membership. Twice you agree to this. You
can turn off the "auto-renewal" feature at any time to stop the recurring
billing.
I have written several members and have not heard anything? Why is
that?
Our
site allows you to see if a member has read your message or not. Often
times if a message goes unread - it may not be because they aren't interested
but that they are not a paid member and cannot view it. Also
keep in mind - that many people do not live a "digital lifestyle" and do
not login on a daily basis - they may only check the site once a month.
What does being "Catholic-Owned" mean?
It means that we understand how hard it is to find someone with your same
morals, values and beliefs. We designed the site to not only help you find others
who share a love for God but also for you to find out their thoughts and beliefs

What
are Favorites and Blocking?
Favorites allow you to "bookmark" or save another
user so that you can easily find them later.
Blocking allows you to block
a member that you do not want to interact with.
I clicked "Invite for Chat" on another member profile and I did not get
a response. Why is that?
It could mean a couple of things:
1. The user has chosen to decline your chat request.
2. The user is not a paying member and could not respond. Chat is for paying
members only.
I am a paid member and I tried to access
the Public "Chat by U.S. State" and I was still not able to use it. When
I clicked on the tab it told me that I had to upgrade my Plug-in. I don't
understand?
Our Public chat was created in Flash. Flash is a plug-in that comes standard
with most web browsers(IE, AOL, Netscape, Opera etc). If you are getting this
message then you must upgrade your browser to the Flash MX version of the Plug-in
to use the chat. You can upgrade to it for free here.
I have decided that I want to change my
username and password. How do I do that?
Simply go to "My Account Preferences" and change either one to what you prefer
and then hit "Update Info" at the bottom of the page. The changes will take place
immediately.
Keep in mind that changing your username may make it tough for other members
who are interested in you to keep track of you. As they may have added you to
their favorites under your original username.
Are there any long-term contracts or
commitments to join?
No. You can be a member for as little as one month and can cancel
at anytime. Some of our competitors force you to pay an outragous one-time
$99 free or force you to join OR force you to join for a minimum of 3 months.
We believe in freedom and flexibility and will always have month to month
memberships at low prices.
However, if you want to save money per month - you can sign up for our 3, 6,
12 month plan (or even lifetime).
How long can I be a free member?
You can be a free member as long as you wish to stay and have a profile registered
with us. However until you upgrade to a paid membership - you will not be able
to contact other members.
Why do you charge for your service?
Sometimes we are asked why our service cannot
be 100% free. This is an excellent questions. We do provide free memberships
for you at no charge to you but you have limited ability within the site(you
can signup, post your profile, browse others but you cannot contact other
members). We charge a fee simply because we could not provide this service
without revenue coming in to support the website. End users do not always
realize that there are 10s of costs to running a global website on a monthly
basis. Including server costs, marketing ad costs, credit card processing
costs, search engine optimization costs, programming costs for new features
and bug fixes etc. Without member fees we could not afford to run and maintain
the site and attract a continous stream of new members.
If I cancel my account, can I come back at some point as a member?
Yes. If you were a free or paid member and you canceled your account, we keep
your user information in our database. If you come back and login with your old
username and password - the site will prompt you to "reactivate your account".
At that point you have the choice of reactivating your account as a free or paid
member again.
Please note that all of your profile information and preferences are stored after
you cancel your membership as well as your pictures, voice and video.
How secure is my information on your site?
It is very secure. Our site is hosted on a very secure server which uses
a firewall and encryption to protect our site.
How safe is my credit card on your site?
Your credit card information is safe because it is secured through 128 bit Verisign
SSL encryption which is an industry standard. Click on the Verisign Secure Site

How much money gets donated to the Catholic Charities?
Once you are a paying member, $.25 of your paid membership is donated to the
Catholic Charities on an annual basis. This may not sound
like much but like the weekly offering at mass or liturgy - a little from a lot
of people goes a long way in making a difference.
